노랑원추리(백합과 원추리속) Hemerocallis thunbergii Baker

8월 뜨거운 여름 저녁 무렵 노란 꽃잎을 펼치기 시작하던 노랑원추리가 참 신기하였었는데

9월 늦은 날에도 아직 늦둥이 몇 녀석들이 노랗게 꽃을 피우고 있다.

 

노랑원추리는 우리 나라 남서부 지역 초지에 주로 분포하는데

꽃대가 길고 화경이 가지를 깊게 분지하며 저녁 무렵에 꽃이 피는 특징이 있다.
