큰원추리(백합과 원추리속) Hemerocallis middendorffii Trautv. & C.A.Mey.

강원도에는 여름꽃인 큰원추리가 벌써 피기 시작하였다.

보통 원추리의 개화가 6월 중순 이후부터 시작하던데 강원도라 그런가 개화가 무척 빠른 것 같다.

7월의 덕유산 대 평전의 원추리 군락은 장관을 이루는데 늘 뒤늦게 올라가서 그 장관을 아직 마주하지 못하였다.

 

 

 

큰원추리는 화서가 거의 없거나 짧아서 포가 뭉쳐 있는 것 같고 포의 모양이 꼬리가 긴 넓은 난형(2~3cm)이다 .

소화경이 거의 없거나 짧으며, 1꽃차례에 2~4개의 꽃이 핀다.
