꽃생강(생강과) Hedychium coronarium J. König

2010년에 이곳에서 몇 개체 있던 녀석을 담은 적이 있는데

생강과이니 뿌리로 번져 나가서 8년 사이에 도로 사면을을 완전 접수해 버렸다.

 

칸나 꽃을 닯았는데 조경용으로 더러 집 마당에 심은 것이 보이더니 그 녀석이 일탈하여 야생으로 자라게 된 모양이다

 

마다가스카르, 히말라야 등에 자생하거나 관상용 또는 약용으로 재배한다.

잎집이 겹쳐 줄기처럼 보이는 헛줄기는 높이 1~3m다. 잎자루는 없으며, 잎혀는 길이 2~3cm로 막질이다.
