산토끼꽃(산토끼꽃과 산토끼꽃속) Dipsacus japonicus Miq.

이 녀석은 2년초이다. 첫해는 로제트 상태로 한 해를 보내니 꽃이 피지 않는다.

 

그걸 모르고 이 녀석을 봐오던 곳에 들렀는데 꽃이 전혀 보이지 않아서 절멸한 줄 알고 실망했다가

그 이듬해에 풍성한 군락으로 꽃이 피고 있는 걸 보고 깜짝 놀란 적이 있었더랬다.

 

이 녀석이 2년초란 사실을 몰랐던 까닭으로 생겨난 해프닝이다. ㅎㅎ
