산토끼꽃(산토끼꽃과 산토끼꽃속) 신초 Dipsacus japonicus Miq.

산토끼꽃은 2년초이다 

이렇게 신초인 채로 일년을 넘기고 이듬해 꽃대를 올려 꽃을 피운다.

 

몇 년 전 산토끼꽃 꽃을 찾아 갔었는데 전혀 보이지 않길래 모두 사라져 버린 줄 알았었다.

헌데 이듬해 그 자리에 가 보니 많은 개체들이 꽃을 피우고 있는 걸 보고서 아하~! 이 녀석이 2년초 였구나 하는 걸 짐작하게 되었던 것이다.
