묵밭소리쟁이(마디풀과 소리쟁이속) Rumex conglomeratus Murray

이 녀석을 보자고 장거리 탐사를 감행하였다.

이태 전에 제주도에서 긴가민가하고 담은 녀석이 있긴 하지만 열매를 확인하지 못하였다.

제초 작업으로 몽땅 제거되어 버렸기 때문이다.

 

마침 묵밭소리쟁이를 만날 기회가 있었는데............

원줄기는 이미 검게 말라가고 있었지만 아래쪽 가지에 곁가지가 자라는 부분이 있어서 잎과 열매 자료를 얻을 수가 있었다

 

 

 

묵밭소리쟁이의 특징은 외화피가 길고 내화피의 폭과 길이가 열매 결절 크기에 비하여 현저하게 작다는 것이다

 

 

 

 

 

꽃은 10~20개로 원추화서에 윤생한다. 아마도 국내에 자생하는 소리쟁이속 중에서 열매가 가장 작을 것이다.

내화피편은 밋밋하고 길이는 폭의 2배 정도, 기부는 쐐기형 또는 절형이고 외화피편이 내화피면으 폭보다 다소 더 길다,
