된장풀(콩과 된장풀속) 열매 Desmodium caudatum (Thunb.) DC.

수목원 숲을 뒤지다가 된장풀 어린 개체를 보고 깜짝 놀랐다.

산책로 주변이라 좀 의심스러웠는데 역시 자생은 아니었다

수목원 여기 저기 제주도 특산식물을 더러 심어 두고 있었는데 이 녀석도 온실 주변에 많이 기르고 있는 모습이 보인다.

 

 

 

열매 표면에는 고부라진 가시털이 잔뜩 덮고 있는데 맨살에도 달라 붙을 정도로 접착도가 대단한 녀석이다

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

꽤 오래 목은 된장풀 원줄기가 생각보다 굵다

목본인데 왜 풀이라 이름을 지었담?
