된장풀(콩과 된장풀속) 열매 Desmodium caudatum (Thunb.) DC.

 한라산 남사면 숲 가장자리나 중산간 마을 길주변에서 본 적은 있었는데 수목원에서 된장풀을 만나긴 첨이다.

이 녀석 보러 갈 시간에 없어서 기대하지 않았는데 이렇게 충실한 열매를 뜻밖에 만나서 내가 꽃복은 있는 것 같다.

 

잔디갈고리와 함께 도둑놈의갈고리속에 속하는 제주 특산식물로 열매에 갈고리 털이 많이 있다.

열매 꼬투리 끝에는 길다랗게 고부라진 돌기가 하나 있는데 암술대가 떨어지지 않고 숙존하는 것으로 보인다.

 

 

 

 

꽃은 자잘한 게 별로 볼 품이 없다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

이 녀석 역시 찍찍이 같은 털이 잔뜩 덮여 있어서 옷이나 짐승의 몸에 잘 달라 붙는다.

 

 

 

열매 끝에는 고부라진 갈고리가 하나씩 달려 있다.
