참개암나무(자작나무과 개암나무속)

이른 봄이면 이 녀석과 올괴불나무를 보러 들르는 사찰 숲이다.

온 동네가 봄이라고 부산을 떠는데 이곳 산사 숲은 아직 봄볕의 후덕함이 가난했던 모양이다.

 

참개암나무는 수꽃의 꽃밥이 붉은색에 세모꼴의 포(꽃덮개?)에 털이 많고, 꽃자루가 매우 짧고 수꽃화서가 길다

개암나무의 수꽃은 꽃밥이 연노란색에 포(꽃덮개)에 털이 없고 꽃차례가 총상화서로 꽃자루가 길다.

 

헌데 참개암나무 수꽃 꽃밥의 붉은색 정도는 서식지에 따라 다소 차이가 있어서 꼭 붉은색이 특징이라 할 수는 없을 것 같다.

아래 녀석도 개암나무에 비하여 어린 가지에 부드러운 털이 덮여 있고

 

 

 

수꽃 이삭은 화경이 거의 보이지 않을 정도로 매우 짧고 잔가지와 화경, 포에 부드러운 털이 덮여 있다
