바위수국(수국과 바위수국속) Schizophragma hydrangeoides Siebold & Zucc.

제주도와 울릉도 숲에는 덩굴을 올리는 등수국과 바위수국이 자생한다

등수국은 중성화 꽃이 4장의 꽃받침잎을 가지고 잎의 거치가 자잘하며 잎 뒷면이 녹색인데

바위수국은  중성화 꽃받침잎이 1장이고 잎의 거치가 크고 잎 뒷면이 녹백색을 띤다.

개화 시기는 등수국이 조금 더 빨리 핀다.
