갯길경(갯길경과 갯길경속) Limonium tetragonum (Thunb.) Bullock

갯길경이 이렇게 제대로 꽃 핀 걸 만난 적이 없었는데 싱싱하게 핀 노란 꽃이 반갑다.

제주도에 가지 못하여 갯가 식물을 담을 기회가 없었는데

올해는 남쪽과 서해 쪽에 다녀오면서 몇 녀석 반갑게 만났다.

늘 헷갈리게 하는 이름 비슷한 녀석들이다.

화경은 높이 30-60cm로서 많은 가지가 갈라져 그 끝에 총상화서가 9-10월에 달리며 화서는 길이 2-4cm이고

포는 녹색이며 타원형이고 몇개의 꽃이 들어 있으며 그 속에는 2개의 소포가 있다.

꽃받침은 통형이고 끝이 5개로 갈라지며 길이 5-6mm로서 윗부분에 붉은빛이 돌고 화관은 황색이며 5개로 깊게 갈라지고 꽃받침보다 길다.

5개의 수술과 5개의 암술대가 있는 암술이 있다.
