병아리풀(원지과)

전국이 장마속에 허우적거리고 있다.

만나고 싶은 녀석 하나 있어서 그래도 길 나섰다. 그냥 보내기에는 시간이 너무 아까워서.

병아리는 8월을 넘어서야 피던데 이 골짝 녀석들은 성급하게 피어 있다.

 

발 아래 무심코 보다가 붉은색이 얼핏 보이길래 앉아서 살폈더니 손가락 한 마디도 안되는 녀석이 꽃을 피웠다.

가뭄으로 키가 3cm도 안되는 녀석이라 눈 맞추느라 집중을 했더니 어질어질하다.

 

원지과 원지속이지만 애기풀에 비하여 1년초로 분명한 엽병이 있으며 화서는 줄기 끝에 정생한다.

애기풀, 두메애기풀, 원지의 열매는 날개가 있는데 이 녀석의 열매에는 날개가 없다.

 

 

 

 병아리가 노란 달걀을 품고 있다. ㅎㅎ

벌써 열매 2개가 달려 있는데 원지속의 다른 녀석들과 달리 날개가 없다.

 

 

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

원지과 일년생초본으로 잎은 호생하고 난상 원형 또는 타원형이며 끝이 뾰족하거나 둔하고 길이 1~3cm로서

가장자리는 밋밋하며 연모가 있고 밑부분이 갑자기 좁아져서 길이 2-8mm의 날개가 있는 엽병으로 된다.
