애기풀(원지과)

볕이 좋아서 그런가? 무덤가에 애기풀이 가득하게 깔려서 자주색 꽃을 피웠다.

이렇게 풍성하게 꽃을 피운 애기풀은 오랜만인 것 같다. 초본성 반관목이다.

 

 

 

 

 

잎은 호생하며 타원형, 긴 타원형 또는 난형이고 길이 2cm로서 줄기와 더불어 잔털이 있다. 엽병이 매우 짧다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

짧은 총상화서가 나와 접형화 비슷한 연한 홍색 꽃이 달리며 꽃받침잎은 5개로서 꽃잎처럼 생긴 양쪽 2개의 꽃받침잎이 날개모양으로 된다.

꽃잎은 밑부분이 합쳐져서 한 쪽만 터지고 앞면에 해당하는 꽃잎 뒷면에 갈라진 열편이 있으며 수술은 8개로서 밑부분이 합쳐진다.

씨방은 2실이며 화주(花柱)는 2갈래로 갈라진다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

삭과는 편평한 원형이고 2개의 포가 있으며 넓은 날개가 있고 9월에 익는다.

초본성 반관목으로서 높이가 20cm에 달하고 뿌리에서 여러 대가 나와 곧추 또는 비스듬히 자라며 전체에 잔털이 난다
