원지(원지과 원지속) Polygala tenuifolia Willd

낮은 산지, 석회암지대에 자라는 여러해살이풀이다. 

국내에서 자생지는 아직 이 곳 산자락 주변으로만 알려져 있다.

 

뿌리는 굵고 땅속 깊이 들어가며 그 끝에 줄기가 여러 대 모여난다. 

잎은 선형으로 끝이 뾰족하고 가장자리는 밋밋하며 잎자루는 없다. 

 

푸른색을 때는 보라색 꽃은 마치 파랑새 한마리가 날개를 퍼드덕 거리는 느낌을 준다
