광릉골무꽃을 처음 만났다.
지리산 자락 어디인지도 모르고 몰려다니는 대로 따라 다녔다.
이 녀석은 다년초로 근경이 옆으로 길게 자라며 모가 지는 줄기 능선에 털이 있고 40cm~70cm까지 자란다.
꽃은 연한 하늘색으로 줄기 끝에 총생하며 거의 곧추 선다. 골무꽃속도 너무 머리 아프다.
꽃은 5-6월에 피고 길이 3.5cm로서 연한 하늘색이며 정생하는 총상화서에 달리고 곧게 서며
포는 길이 5-10mm로서 선상 피침형 또는 피침형이고 소화경은 길이 4mm정도이다.
꽃받침은 길이 4mm정도이지만 꽃이 진 다음에는 길이가 7mm에 달하며
화관통부는 겉에 선모와 털이 있고 윗부분이 순형이며 하순에 자주색 점이 있다.
잎은 길이 4-10cm, 나비가 1.2-4.5cm로서 타원형 또는 난상 타원형이고 중앙부의 것이 가장 크며
표면에 털이 약간 있으나 뒷면에는 없고 가장자리에 굵은 톱니가 있으며 대생한다.
가장 윗부분의 잎은 피침형 또는 난상 피침형으로서 끝이 길게 뾰족해진다.
