황금(꿀풀과 골무꽃속) Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi

오랜만에 들러본 황금이 가뭄을 이겨내지 못하고 바위 위애 자리잡았던 큰 무더기는 생을 마감한 것 같다

작은 무더기 한 포기가 그래도 꽃을 피우긴 했는데 이 녀석 마저 사라질까 봐 안타깝다.

 

물가로 내려가는길이 시멘트 포장이 되어 있고 못 보던 집이 들어서 있다.

길 옆에 매여서 지나가는 사람에게 사납게 짖어대던 그 개는 여전하게 사나운데

더 삭아진 스레이트 집 흙벽에 환삼덩굴만 요란하다.

 

'뭐 하러  이 골짜기 까지 왔냐?' 고 관심을 보이던 할매는 그 몇 년 사이 어떻게 되셨을까?
