연잎꿩의다리(미나리아재비과)

오락가락하는 장맛비 때문에 망설이다가 까짓거 비가 오면 맞으면서 구경이나 하지뭐 하는 심정으로 출발하였다.

덕분에 마악 개회가 시작되는 연잎꿩의다리를 적기에 만났다. 연잎꿩의다리는 처음 대면하는 녀석이다.

 

여태까지 꼭지연잎꿩의다리를 연잎꿩의다리로 잘못 알고 있었다.

6월 중순에 만났던 꼭지연잎꿩의다리 하고는 크기가 비교가 안 될 정도로 크다.

연잎꿩의다리가 고만고만한 크기인 줄 알았더니 환경이 좋은 곳에는 잎이 다섯살박이 손바닥만 하다.

근생엽은 1개 였고 2회 3출 소엽으로 이루어져 있었다.

잎은 엽병이 길며 1-2회 3출엽이고 소엽병이 있으며 소엽은 둥글고 소엽병이 밑에서부터 1/4정도 올라가서 달리므로 방패 같고

그 모양이 연잎 같으며 밑에서부터 1/3정도의 가장자리에 둥근 치아상의 톱니가 있고 길이와 폭이 각 10cm정도로서 뒷면이 분백색이다

6월 중순 다른 곳에서 담은 꼭지연잎꿩의다리는 연잎꿩의다리에 비하여

개체 크기가 매우 작고 왜소하여 내 손뼘으로 한 뼘 정도 크기가 대부분이었는데 도랑가에 있던 연잎꿩의다리는 키가 50cm 정도 되었다.

환경 조건이 좋지 않은 곳의 잎은 지름 3~4cm정도였지만 이 녀석은 지름이 10cm 족히 더 넓어 보일 정도라 깜짝 놀랐다. 

전초의 크기를 내려다 보고 담아서 작아 보이지만 엄청 큰 녀석이다.
