좀양귀비(양귀비과)

제주에서좀양귀비는 검질로 취급 받는다. 이 녀석은 제주도 풀밭이나 도로주변 노지에 주로 자생하고 있다.

채송화 씨앗처럼 작은 씨앗이 열매에서 쏟아지면 그 수는 감당 할 수가 없을 것이다. 그러니 좀양귀비가 많이 번질 수 밖에.

 

작년에 제주에서 씨앗을 받아 왔는데 현관 댓돌 아래 틈에서 싹이 나더니만 벌써 열매를 익히고 있다.
