배초향

산 아래로 구름이 몰려오는 것이 보인다. 그래도 아직 함백산 정상은 오히려 해가 나는 듯 밝아온다.

흰둥근이질풀을 담고 있는데 긴산꼬리풀 옆에 진한 자주색의 꿀풀과 식물이 보인다.  

같은 꼬리풀인 줄 알고 그냥 지나칠려고 했는데. 이게 뭐지?  "배초향 같은데요."

동행한 님은 아닌 것 같단다. 일단 찍어 놓고 보자. 돌아와서 확인하니 배초향이 맞다.

고산이라 배초향 꽃색이 유독 진하다. 잎도 진한 녹색이다.

 

만항재에서 산솜방망이를 찍을 때 배터리가 깜빡깜빡 비상 신호를 보냈다.

어제 저녁에 자료를 다운 받고 배터리 충전을 시키지 않은 채로 아침에 갑자기 출발하게 되었기 때문에 걱정은 했었지만

어제 한시간 정도 찍으러 다녀서 그래도 충분히 남아 있을 줄 알았다. 오늘 담을 것들이 너무 많은데 이런 실수를 하다니...

꿀풀과 다년생 초본으로 높이 40-100cm이고 윗부분에서 가지가 갈라지며 네모가 진다.

잎은 대생하고 길이가 5-10cm, 나비 3-7cm로 난상 심장형이며 끝이 뾰족하고 밑부분이 원저 또는 아심장저이며

표면에 털이 없고 뒷면에 약간의 털과 더불어 흰빛이 도는 것도 있으며 가장자리게 둔한 톱니가 있으고 엽병은 길이 1-4cm이다.

 

꽃은 순형으로서 7-9월에 피며 자주색이고 가지 끝과 원줄기 끝의 윤산화서에 달리며 화서는 길이 5-15cm, 나비 2cm이다.

꽃받침은 길이 5-6mm로서 5개로 갈라지고 열편은 좁은 삼각형이며 꽃잎은 길이 8-10mm로서 밑부분의 것이 길고 옆의 것에 톱니가 있다.
