퇴근하는 길 여유롭게 지나는데 감자꽃이 한창 피고 있었다.
잠시 차를 멈추고 오랜만에 한참 들여다 보았다.
흰색 꽃이 피면 흰 감자가 달리고 자주색 꽃이 피면 자주 감자가 달린다
자주감자는 꽃도 줄기도 자주색이다.
요즈음은 잘 심지 않아서 구경하기 어려웠는데
감자 밭 한 쪽에 두어 이랑 완두콩을 심은 밭 주인이
웬지 같은 유년시절 추억이 있지 않을까 쓸데 없는 생각을 해 본다.
학교 오가는 논둑에 심겨져 있던 완두콩. 막 알이 잡히기 시작한 어린 꼬투리는 우리들의 간식거리였다.
