애기봄맞이(앵초과 봄맞이꽃속) Androsace filiformis Retz.

이 쪼꼬미를 국내에서는 오랜만에 만난다.

 

고향 집 둘레가 논이라 논둑에는 오만 봄풀들이 지천으로 자랐는데

그 중에도 애기봄맞이가 우산처럼 꽃차례를 펼치고 쌀알보다 작은 꽃잎 피우는 모습은 흔하게 만나던 모습이었다.

 

해서 봄날 눈둑옆에 업드려서 욘석을 촬영하곤 했었는데 지금은 흔적도 없다.

잡초를 제거한다고 뿌려대는 제초제 때문에.

 

그 오래 전 만남의 녀석을 경남의 습지 식물상을 조사하는 중에 만났으니 어찌 반갑지 않으리...

 

중국과 몽골 쪽에는 애기봄맞이와 비슷한 명천봄맞이라는 녀석이 있다

잎자루가 없고 톱니가 크며 꽃받침에 능각이 있는 점이 애기와 구분이 된다.
