몽골식물-대황(마디풀과 대황속) 열매 Rheum rhabarbarum L.

너른 초지를 앞에 두고 위용있게 서 있는 대황에서 장군의 기개가 느껴진다.

우리나라에서는 약용으로 재배하기도 한다는데 어쩌다가 한 두포기 우연하게 만난 적은 있지만 제대로 만나보지 못하였다. 몽골과 내몽골 초지에는 키큰 녀석이라 우뚝하니 눈에 잘 띈다.
