대설산식물 - 아라시구사(범의귀과 보이키니아속) Boykinia lycoctonifolia (Maxim.) Engl.

일본명 '아라시구사'  일본 고유종으로 홋카이도 북부와 혼슈 중부에 분포하며

아고산대에서 고산대의 약간 습한 초원과 숲 가장자리에서 자란다.

고산 식물로 다년생이며 꽃 줄기의 높이는 20-40cm에 이른다.

 

옆으로 기어 다니는 길쭉한 지하 줄기가 있고, 뿌리 줄기는 긴 갈색 털을 가진다.

 

작년에는 몇 포기 급하게 담았던 녀석인데 올해는 개화 적기인 것 같다.
