북해도식물 - 아라시구사(범의귀과 보이키니아속) Boykinia lycoctonifolia (Maxim.) Engl.

구로다케는 곤도라에서 내려서 1.8km 경사가 급한 등산로를 올라야 정상에 다다른다.

원래 산을 잘 타지 못하는 나는 자꾸만 뒤쳐져서 일행들 뒷자리를 맡아 놓다시피 하였다.

 

곤도라에서 내려서 급하게 몇 장 담았는데 정체를 찾기 쉽지 않다.

열매나 잎새 모양은 범의귀과로 보이지만 전혀 생소한 모습이라 속조차 짐작하지 못하겠다.

속이라도 짐작해야 학명을 찾을 수 있는데,

그냥 범의귀과의 범의귀속으로 이미지 검색을 하니 전혀 보이지 않는다.

 

와우~! 일본 고산식물도감에서 찾았다.

일본명 '아라시구사'  일본 고유종으로 홋카이도 북부와 혼슈 중부에 분포하며

아고산대에서 고산대의 약간 습한 초원과 숲 가장자리에서 자란다.

고산 식물로 다년생이며 꽃 줄기의 높이는 20-40cm에 이른다.

 

옆으로 기어 다니는 길쭉한 지하 줄기가 있고, 뿌리 줄기는 긴 갈색 털을 가진다.

어쩐지 생소한 모습이라 했더니 역시 우리 나라에는 없는 속으로 일본 고유종이었다.
