몽골식물 - 개자리속 Medicago falcata L.

자주개자리와 전체적인 느낌은 비슷한데 꽃색이 다르고 엽형도 더 작고 쪼박쪼박한 형태이다. 자세히 보면 차이가 있다.
이 노란색 꽃을 피우는 개지리 녀석을 노랑개자리라 부를 수 없는 게 노랑개자리는 이미 유입되어 있는 또 다른 녀석이 있기 때문이다.
원산지는 유럽에서 몽골과 인도 아대륙까지이다. 러시아와 일본에는 유입되어 있다.
