큰바늘꽃(바늘꽃과)

분홍바늘꽃만큼 고운 녀석을 이제사 만나 보았다.

근경이 옆으로 길게 뻗고 굵은 지하경이 발달한 다년초이니 이 녀석 사라질 걱정은 없겠다.

 

 

 

꽃은 8월에 피고 길이 12-15mm로서 연한 홍색이며 줄기나 가지 윗부분의 엽액에서 1개씩 핀다.

짧은 화병은 자방과 더불어 짧은 선모가 밀생하고 긴 털이 섞여 있다.

 

 

 

 

 

꽃받침은 원주형이고 길이 9-11mm이며 열편은 길이 7-9mm이고 4개의 피침상 열편이 있으며,

꽃잎은 넓은 도란형이고 4개이며 도란형으로 끝이 오목하고 길이는 11-12m가량이다.

수술은 8개이며 암술은 1개이고 암술머리가 4개로 갈라진다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

삭과는 원주형이고 길이 5-8cm로서 길이 4-12mm의 짧은 과병이 있으며 종자는 긴 타원형이고

길이 1-1.2mm로서 끝이 둥글며 유두상의 돌기가 밀생하고 8-9월에 익는다.

 

 

 

중앙부의 경생옆은 선상 긴 타원형 또는 선상 피침형이고 예두이며 밑부분이 좁아지면서 약간 원줄기를 감싸고

길이 3-10cm, 폭 5-18mm로서 양면에 긴 털이 있으며 가장자리에 뾰족한 톱니가 있다.

도랑 주변 습한 곳에 서식을 하는 녀석은 높이가 1m에 달하며 원줄기는 원주형으로 곧게 자라고

가지가 많이 갈라져서 전체가 둥글게 되며 길게 퍼진 털과 선모가 밀생한다.

 

 

 

 

 

가을에 육질의 포복지가 옆으로 뻗고 비늘잎이 있다. 근경이 옆으로 길게 뻗고 굵은 지하경이 발달한다.
