미치광이풀(가지과 미치광이풀속) Scopolia parviflora (Dunn) Nakai

이태 전 강원도 들바람꽃 출사를 갔다가 이 곳 미치광이풀 자리에서 사이버 상에서만 알던 꽃동무를 우연하게 만났더랬다.

그 꽃동무 덕분에 장소 정보만 가지고 있던 현호색 식구 한 녀석도 안내를 받아서 헤매지 않고 조우할 수 있었다.

올해 들바람꽃 개화 소식을 전하는 꽃동무와 함께 강원도 꽃자리에서 봄꽃 탐사를 하게 되었다.

 

이 녀석은 산 계곡부나 산사면 돌이나 바위지대를 좋아하는 것 같다.

열매를 촬영하려고 결실기에 뒤져본 적이 있는데 결실율은 거의 제로에 가까운 것 같았다.

 

강한 독이 있어서 사람이나 동물이 잘못 먹으면 발열과 흥분, 환각 등이 나타나

마치 미친 것 같은 증상을 보인다고 하여 ‘미치광이풀’이라는 이름이 붙었다.
