산개나리(물푸레나무과 개나리속) Forsythia saxatilis (Nakai) Nakai

산개나리는 잎 뒷면에 털이 밀생하지만 만리화는 양면에 털이 없다.

산개나리 잎은 난형, 피침형, 혹은 장타원형 등 엽형의 변이가 심하다.

 

이전에 발간된 도감과 식물지에는 ㅅ만리화는 잎 뒷면에 털이 없는 걸 특징으로 보고 있다.

석회암 지역의 이 녀석은 엽형이 광난형으로 끝이 급하게 뾰족하고 밑이 둥글거나 넓은 쐐기형이지만

잎 뒷면에 털이 있고 옆맥이 움푹 들어가 있어서 산개나리로 정리한다.  

 

잎 표면의 맥은 들어가고 뒷면의 맥은 돌출하며 부드러운 털이 밀생하기도 한다
