이삭마디풀=갯마디풀(마디풀과 마디풀속) Polygonum polyneuron Franch. & Sav.

미국갯마디풀은 열매가 화피와 길이가 거의 같거나 약간 긴 데 비하여

이삭마디풀은 열매가 화피보다 1.2배 ~1.5배로 제법 길게 나와 있다는 점으로 이 녀석을 이삭마디풀이 아닐까 하고 있다.

 

이삭마디풀은 열매는 화피보다 1.2~1.5배 길고 평활하며 광택이 있고,

가지가 많이 갈라지고 식물체는 분백색을 띠며 마르면 암갈색이다. 

미국갯마디풀은 6-8월에 꽃이 피는데 비하여 갯마디풀은 가을에 피며 수술이 흔히 8개로 많다.

 

개체 1. 아직 줄기와 잎이 마르지 않고 분백색을 띠고 있다.

 

열매가 화피 길이의 1.2~1.5배로 길다.

잎은 긴 타원형, 타원상 도피침형이다

꽃차례 부분의 잎이 떨어지면 꽃이나 열매가 이삭처럼 보이기 때문에 이삭마디풀이라고도 부른다

이 녀석은 잎이 다 떨어지고 잎과 줄기가 암갈색으로 변하고 있다.
