매듭풀 가족에도 둥근매듭풀과 매듭풀이 있다.

우리 같은 아마추어들 눈에는 그저 같은 녀석으로 보이는데 몇 가지 구분 점이 있다.

 

	매듭풀	둥근매듭풀
잎 모양	좁고 길다. 끝이 둥글거나 다소 파진다	넓고 짧다.
잎의 털	거의 없다	표면은 털이 성글게 있음, 주맥에 강모, 뒷면의 주맥과 잎 가장자리에 백색강모
줄기의 털	밑을 향한 짧은 털(부드러운 하향모)	위를 향한 흰털(강한 상향모)
꽃밭침	짧은 털이 있다.	흰털이 있다

 

 줄기에 아래를 향한 털이 있고 잎에는 털이 안 보인다.
