새완두(콩과 나비나물속)

꽃이라야 뭐 하얀게 자잘하여 눈에 들어오지도 않는다. 얼치기완두 보다 꽃이 작고 전초에 털이 더 많다.

잎은 어긋나며 깃꼴겹잎이고 작은잎은 6~8쌍이며 덩굴손이 2~3개로 갈라진다.

 

잎겨드랑이에서 나온 길이 2~3cm의 총상꽃차례에 3~7개의 꽃이 달린다. 장타원형 협과 열매는 털이 많고 1~2개의 씨가 들어 있다.

비슷한 얼치기완두는 작은잎이 4~6쌍이고 꽃이 1~3개씩 달리며, 덩굴손이 갈라지지 않고, 열매는 털이 없고 씨가 3~6개 들어 있다.
