섬현호색(양귀비과 현호색속) Corydalis filistipes Nakai

울릉도 이틀째,

밤부터 비가 내리더니 아침에도 그칠 기색이 없다.

강원도와 봉화 지역에는 대설주의보까지 내렸다는데

 

나리분지에는 비가 내린다.

민박집 주인이 성인봉 산자락에는 눈이 내렸다고 귀뜸을 한다.

비는 계속내리고 나리분지에서 성인봉이 안 보일 정도로 안개구름에 덮여 있어서 앞이 안 보이니 방법이 없다.

 

일행과 이야기를 나누며 비가 그치기를 기다리는데

11시 쯤 되자 우산을 쓰고 나갈 정도로 비가 약해졌다.

식당 문을 나서는데 성인봉 북사면에 하얗게 쌓인 눈이 눈에 들어 온다.

 

설중화를 담을 수 있다고 좋아라 하면서 길을 재촉하는데

어제 오후 시각에 허겁지겁 담았던 섬현호색 주변에 밤새 내린 눈이 희끗희끗하다.

 

비가 와서 꽝을 칠 거라 마음을 비우고 있었는데 4월에 웬 설중화냐고 꽃동무가 반색을 한다.

더 일찍 홨으면 눈을 덮어 쓴 섬현호색을 볼 수 있었을 텐데.....하며 정신 없이 셔터를 눌렀다.
