산부채(천남성과 산부채속)

백두산 주변 습지에 서식하는 북방계 녀석을 여기서 만나 본다.

강원도 고지대에 자리잡은 이 숲에는 고산 지역의 식물과 북방계 식물이 꽤 있다.

아마 고지대 숲 속이라서 연 평균 기온이 낮고 습기가 충분하여 이 녀석들이 살아가기에 무리가 없는 모양이다.

 

산부채는 뿌리 줄기가 길게 벋으면서 몇 갈래로 갈라지며 새로운 개체를 번식시키고 있었는데

뿌리를 땅에 박은 녀석들도 보이지만 물 위에 둥둥 떠서 뿌리를 허옇게 흔들고 있는 모습이 신기하고 재미 있다.

 

흰 카라꽃 같은 타원형의 포 안에 육수화서가 생겨서 벌써 열매가 여물고 있는 걸 보니 천남성과라는 걸 금방 알 수가 있었다.

 

 

 

굵은 줄기뿌리를 중심으로 여러 갈래 줄기뿌리가 갈라져 나가면서 새로운 개체를 만들고 있다.

 

 

줄기 끝에 새 개체가 달려 있다.
