오리나무(자작나무과 오리나무속)

유후~! 기분 좋은 만남. 오리나무를 만나다.

긴개별꽃과 기분좋은 조우를 한 후 뭐 다른 것이 없나 싶어서 못가를 어정거리는데 분명 오리나무다.

 

물오리나무, 사방오리나무는 흔하게 만나는데도 정작 오리나무를 만나보지 못하였는데

이렇게 못 가에 서 있었던 것을 몰라 보고 지나쳐 버렸던 거였다.

오리나무는 물이 가까운 습한 곳을 좋아한단다.

장타원형 혹은 도란형 잎은 불규칙한 잔톱니가 있고 측맥은 7~11쌍.

잎표면에는 털이 없지만 뒷면 아래쪽 맥 위에 적갈색 털이 있다.

잔 가지에는 피목이 있고 평활하지만

오래묵은 가지는 수피가 터지고 불규칙하게 작은 조각으로 떨어진다
