산작약(작약과)

산호 보석보다 더 고운 산작약 열매이다.

자생지로 도로가 나는 바람에 위기의 순간 구출을 한 산작약이 어느 시골 집 마당에 잠시 터를 잡고 꽃을 피운 걸 보았었다.

열매가 익었다고 종자를 채집하러 간다기에 따라 갔더니 이리도 곱게 여물어 터졌다.

어느 골짝에 꽃을 탐사하다가 만났던 꽃동무가 우연히 발견하였다는 산작약 열매는 더 고왔다.

 

 

 

봄에 담은 산작약 꽃이다. 얼마나 귀엽고 이쁘던지....

꽃대가 유난히 길고 끝에 애기 주먹만한 꽃이 한송이 핀다.
