해란초(현삼과 해란초속) Linaria japonica Miq.

참 묘하게 생긴 녀석이다. 이 녀석은 5월부터 피기 시작하여 늦은 가을까지도 핀다.

해안 솔밭 모래사장이나 모래 둔덕에 주로 많이 서식하는데 북부지역 동해안을 따라 포항까지 내려와서 서식을 하고 있다.

 

 

잎은 피침형이며 엽병은 없고  뚜렷하지 않은 3맥이 있으며 대생하거나 3-4개가 윤생하지만 윗부분에서는 흔히 호생한다.
