두메오리나무(자작나무과)=>덤불오리나무의 이명으로 처리

열매는 분명 오리나무이고 잎도 오리나무 종류인데 내륙에서는 본 적이 없는 녀석이라 햇더니 두메오리나무였다.

잎이 유난히 크고 수피도 밝은 회갈색에 다이아몬드 모양의 터짐이 약간 있다. 울릉도 및 설악산 이북의 표고 100-2,300m에 자생한다

 

 

꽃은 암수한그루로 4-5월에 핀다. 수꽃화서는 가지 선단에 달리며 황갈색이고 길이 5-6cm이며,

암꽃화서는 자갈색으로 3-5개의 암꽃이 총상으로 달린다.

 

 

 

과수는 타원형이고 길이 1.5-2cm로서 길이 1-3cm의 대가 있으며 열매는 견과로 종자 양쪽에 날개가 있고 10-11월에 성숙한다

 

잎은 호생하며 털이 없고 심장형, 난형이며 점첨두이고 심장저 또는 예저이며 길이 7-10cm, 폭 4-7cm로서 불규칙한 예거치가 있으며 표면은 윤채가 있으며 짙은 녹색이고 뒷면은 점성이 있으며 엽병은 길이 2-3.5cm 이고 털이 없으며 측맥은 10-12쌍이다.

 

 

높이 5-10m, 지름 30cm이며 줄기는 곧고 수관은 좁으며, 수피는 암갈색이고 가로로 된 백색  버짐 얼룩이 있다.

어린가지는 밝은 갈색이며 피목이 많다. 가지가 많다.
