참쌀새(벼과 쌀새속)

참쌀새, 왕쌀새, 쌀새...모두 열매가 쌀알 같이 대롱거리는 벼과 식물이다.

꽃은 5-6월에 피며 얼핏보기에 도랭이피같은 쌀새이다. 원추화서는 길이 9.5㎝정도이고 원줄기, 가지 및 소화경에 돌기 또는 털이 있으며 소수는 길이 7mm정도로서 2-5개의 소화가 들어있다. 포영은 길이가 다르고 끝이 뾰족하며 중륵과 가장자리에 잔돌기가 있고 5맥이 있다.

 

잎은 길이 15-23㎝, 나비 4-5mm로서 표면에 털이 있으며 가장자리에 잔톱니가 있고 엽설은 길이 2mm정도로서 절두이다.
