미역취가 가을에 이렇게 피었던가?
가까운 산에는 9월 부터 피기 시작하던 것 같던데 여긴 지금 한창 색이 곱다.
가을 꽃을 보면서 한 가지 사실을 발견했는데 가을 꽃 대부분이 화서 위에서 부터 핀다는 공통점이 있었다.
미역취는 산과 들에 자생하는 여러해살이풀이다. 키는 약 35~85cm이며, 줄기에 잔털이 나 있다.
미역취의 어린순은 나물로 먹을 수 있으며, 식물체에는 사포닌라는 물질이 들어 있어서 약으로 흔히 사용된다.
이 녀석의 같은 식구로 울릉미역취, 산미역취, 나래미역취가 있고 미국미역취, 양미역취 같은 외래종도 있다.
꽃은 산방상 수상화서로 되며 소화경은 길이 3-6mm로서 털이 있고 포는 길이 1mm정도이다.
