이 녀석의 번식력은 아주 위협적이다.
남도의 도로변과 들판은 온통 이 녀석으로 노랗다.
뿌리줄기와 씨앗으로 퍼져 나가니 감당이 안되고 제거하기도 쉽지 않다.
안동 근처에까지 나타나기 시작하는데 한 번 자리를 잡으면 다른 풀들이 끼어들 틈을 주지 않고
주변을 장악해 버리는 환경위해식물로 보이는 대로 빨리 제거를 해야 한다.
