백두산식물-개머위(국화과 머위속) Petasites rubellus (J. F. Gmel.) J. Toman

개머위는 우리 나라 북부지방에 나며, 러시아 시베리아, 아무르, 우수리, 몽골, 중국 만주 등에 분포한다. 

여러해살이풀로 뿌리줄기가 옆으로 길게 뻗는다. 곧추선 꽃줄기 끝에서 흰색 또는 연노란색 꽃이 산방상 총상꽃차례에 달리며, 포는 긴 타원형, 길이 1.5~2cm, 두상화는 8개 정도이다. 총포는 길이 7mm로  2줄로 붙는다.
