개화가 시작되던 3주 전보다 전초가 불그레 단풍이 들고 있다. 

습기가 유지되는 볕이 잘 드는 묘지 주변이나 남도의 습지 주변 바위지대에 주로 자생한다.

 

 

꽃받침과 포엽, 잎 뒷면에 가득 찍힌 선점에서 향이 풍겨나온다
