백두산식물 -선토끼풀(콩과 토끼풀속) Trifolium hybridum L.

아침 시산 탐사를 하는데 너지 한 쪽에 선토끼풀이 무더기를 이루고 있다.

서아시아 및 유럽 원산으로 우리나라에도 유입되어 있는 녀석이다.  

 

작은잎 3장으로 된 겹잎으로 작은잎은 가장자리에 가시 모양의 톱니가 있다.

탁엽은 피침형으로 길이 3~5cm, 끝이 꼬리처럼 길다.

꽃은 5~9월에 담홍색으로 피는데 줄기 윗부분 또는 잎겨드랑이에서 난 길이 5~7cm 꽃줄기에 20~30개가 모여 두상꽃차례로 핀다.

 

토끼풀에 비하여 줄기가 직립하고 가지 끝 또는 잎겨드랑이에서 짧은 꽃자루가 있는 머리모양꽃차례가 줄기 위쪽과 잎겨드랑이에 2~3개가 난다.
