백두산식물-당마가목(장미과 마가목속)

봉오리를 달고 있는 게 아직 꽃이 피기에는 이른 시기였다.

식물체에 털이 많은 종에 "당"이란 접두어를 달고 있는 녀석이 많다.

 

이 녀석도 동아와 잎 양면과 어린 가지에 백색털이 밀생하는 녀석이다.

겨울눈에 흰털이 빽빽하게 나고 점성이 없으며 작은 잎 9~15장으로 된 깃꼴겹잎이다.

작은 잎은 긴 타원형 또는 피침형으로 뒷면은 털이 밀생하여 흰빛이 돌고 가장자리에 날카로운 톱니가 있다. 

 

톱니가 크고 줄기를 완전히 감싸는 목도리도마뱀의 목도리 같은 탁엽도 당마가목의 특징이다.

한반도 북부지방과 중국동북부, 몽골, 러시아에 분포한다.

 

잎 양면과 엽축, 어린 가지에 백색털이 뽀얗게 밀생하고 있다.

 

작년 9월에 백두산 언저리에서 담은 당마가목이다.

가을이라 털이 많이 떨어졌지만 뒷면이 흰 분색을 띤다.
