세잎솜대(백합과 두루미꽃속) 열매 Maianthemum trifolium (L.) Sloboda

너무 늦어서 벌써 잎이 다 마르고 있었다.

 

 이 녀석은 총상꽃차례를 가지며 잎이 흔히 3개 달려 있는 특징으로 솜대속에서 뚜렷이 구분된다. 

유사한 종으로 설악산, 소백산, 지리산 등지에 분포하는 자주솜대(Smilacina bicolor Nakai)이다. 자주솜대도 총상꽃차례에 꽃이 달리나, 자주솜대는 간혹 꽃차례의 가지가 갈려 원추꽃차례를 이루기도 한다. 자주솜대는 잎이 5~7개로 달려 세잎솜대와 구분된다.
