금방동사니(사초과 방동사니속) Cyperus microiria Steud.

하나의 꽃대에 8~20개의 작은이삭이 다소 성글게 붙어 있으며, 

작은이삭은 선형, 길이 6~15mm, 폭 1.5mm 정도이다. 

비늘조각은 도란형, 길이 1.5mm 정도로 끝은 둥글고 까락이 없으며 3~5개의 줄이 있다. 

 

한국산 방동사니속 식물 중에서 

비늘조각에 있는 까락의 형태에 따라 까락이 뒤로 구부러지는 방동사니,

까락이 있으나 뒤로 구부러지지 않는 참방동사니, 까락이 없는 금방동사니이로 구분된다.
