끈끈이귀개(끈끈이귀개과 끈끈이귀개속) Drosera peltata Thunb. var. nipponica (Masam.) Ohwi ex E.Walker

이 지역 에지간한 곳에는 이 녀석이 나타난다.

 

여러해살이 식충식물로 「멸종위기 야생생물 Ⅱ급」 식물이다. 

덩이뿌리이며, 뿌리에서 나는 잎은 꽃이 필 때 없어지고 줄기는 곧추서며 높이 10~30cm이다. 

초승달처럼 생긴 잎은 길이 2~3mm이며, 점액질을 내는 긴 샘털로 벌레를 잡아 소화한다. 

해안의 야트막한 산, 습기가 유지되는 풀밭이나 묘지 주변에는 흔하게 볼 수가 있다.
