속단(꿀풀과 속단속) Phlomis umbrosa Turcz.

나는 이 녀석을  뽈 때마다 이름을 떠올리느라고 늘 끙끙거려야 한다.

왜 그런지 이유를 모르겠지만 금방 떠오르지 않는다.

 

식물들 중에서 몇 몇 종이 이름이 떠오르지 않아서 난감할 때가 있는데

단풍나무과의 산겨릅나무와 측백나무과의 노간주나무가 그러하다.

 

이 녀석도 개화 시기가 비슷한 송장풀로 연결하여서야 그렇지 속단이지 하고 이름을 불러 주었으니

기억력의 참 이상한 가출 현상이다.
