2018. 4. 15. 울릉도.
오랫동안 그리워 하던 녀석이다.
5월 초에는 열매만 달고 있어서 꽃을 볼 기회가 없었다. 해서 올해는 4월 울릉행을 시도하였다.
다소 늦엇지만 그늘진 곳에는 싱싱한 꽃도 볼 수 있었다.
이번 울릉 탐사는 섬노루귀와 섬현호색, 섬벚꽃, 너도밤나무가 가장 큰 목적이었는데
말오줌나무 고추냉이 꽃에 개종용까지 만날 수 있는 행운을 얻었다.
울릉도의 식물들은 육지의 식물에 비하여 크기가 대형으로 특산식물이 많다.
섬노루귀 역시 꽃이 노루귀에 비하여 10배 정도 크지며 잎 한장이 손바닥에 겨우 가려질 정도로 큰 녀석이다.
색이 짙은 잎은 묵은 잎이고 새잎은 도르르 말려서 꽃과 함께 돋아나고 있다.
