영주치자(마전과 영주치자속) 열매 Gardneria nutans Siebold & Zucc.

숲 깊은 곶자왈에서 교목을 타고 올라 볕이 잘 드는 곳에 꽃을 피우고 열매를 달고 있으니....

내 카메라로는 열매를 담기 쉽지가 않다.

 

그 중 가까운 녀석을 찾아서 팔을 뻗어서 담고 약간 크롭을 한 정도가 요모양이다.

제주도와 남해안 섬 지역에서 자라는 녀석으로 상록성이다.

제주도 한라산(영주산)에 서식하는 치자와 비슷한 덩굴성 식물이래서 영주치자란 이름을 얻었다고 한다.
